Technical details
What a sponsor note can include. The footer and the newsletter each keep it in a small block. It does not take over the page.
Formats
PNG, JPG, SVG.
Logo
At most about 200×100 pixels, and at most 100 KB.
Words
Headline at most 40 characters. Body at most 80 characters.

Alt text
If you send a logo, include alt text of at most 100 characters.
Approval
Email the logo, headline, body, link, alt text, and dates to alfred@lubbockdepotdistrict.com, or send them on the form after payment. The note runs only after it is approved.
Run dates
Dates are America/Chicago. A paid placement needs an end date. The block shows on the start date through the end date, then hides the next day.
Not allowed
Takeovers, full-width banners, background images, multiple images, and auto-play.
How many
Limited to 3 monthly sponsors, or one exclusive sponsor. One sponsor per newsletter issue. A short page, under about 800 words, has at most two ad units. No page has more than 4.
On screen
Each ad unit uses max-height: 25vh, so it stays within 25% of the viewport height. A following unit uses a top margin of 75vh, so two units do not sit on the same screen.
Where it sits
The footer sponsor and the newsletter sponsor each stay a small block, about 200×100 pixels. Each line says Sponsored. They do not take over the page.
Changelog
October 18, 2026. Paid placements need an end date and hide the day after it. Paid listings are labeled Sponsored. The exclusive monthly sponsor uses its payment link. Caps stay at three monthly sponsors, or one exclusive sponsor, and one newsletter sponsor per issue. October 19, 2026. After payment, the thank-you page asks for the ad details when the Checkout Session is paid. The package comes from that payment link. Details go to alfred@lubbockdepotdistrict.com. Formats, logo size, one link, end dates, and the sponsor caps stay the same.
